The clothing a girl or woman wears has nothing to do with being forced to submit to undesired sexual intercourse or other sex-related activity. Trying to keep from being raped by reliance on how you are dressed will do no good short of wearing armor.
Clothing or its absence may attract attention but rapists are attracted by the appearance of vulnerability. 6′-4″ 200 # women are not as attractive to most rapists as 5′-2″ 100# women as few rapists are looking to be beaten, stomped and thrown over a fence or off a bridge.
This doesn’t mean that no 6′-4″ 200# woman has ever been raped; just that size and strength goes a long way. The size of one’s companions helps, too, as does simply being with others, a few Richard Specks notwithstanding. Having Sam Colt or Smith and his buddy Wesson along is the most effective. “Only” around 1%-2% of sexual assault victims who brandish guns are successfully raped. Even a gun-packing rapist doesn’t want to get into a gunfight and certainly doesn’t want to be shot. This is compared to 96%-98% of sexual assault victims who only ask, plead and beg a rapist not to rape or hurt them who are raped anyway. Any actual resistance reduces the likelihood of being raped.
