It is not their right to ask that information just as it is not right for potential employers to do the same. I personally do not recall the Vandy application asking my sexual orientation, although I did not apply this year so it could have changed. Between this application and the recent happenings with the nursing school app., it seems that some reorganization is necessary in the near future!
